NRAS would like to ask its members to participate in this pilot of a patient survey which is being conducted throughout Europe.

About the survey
The Work Foundation are carrying out this survey, on behalf of the Fit for Work Europe Coalition – a major European initiative which aims to help people with Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) to play a full and active part in work.

Your participation to this survey is extremely important to us.

You should complete the questionnaire?
We wish to hear from as many people as possible who have a musculoskeletal condition and are 16 years old or over. We want to find out about your experiences with doctors and other healthcare professionals, with employers and, if relevant, with parts of the benefit system.

The success of the survey is dependent on the people who take part. The more people who take part, the more useful the results will be as we will have a much better understanding of your experiences and those of other people with MSDs.

Will my answers be confidential?
The Work Foundation takes every care to protect the confidentiality of the information you give us.

Your answers to this survey will be completely anonymous and the results will not be presented in anyway that can identify you as an individual.

What if I have a question?
If you have any other questions or concerns about the survey, please contact Natalie Gunning at ngunning@theworkfoundation.com

How to complete the survey?
Please find below the web address (URL) for the pilot MSD patient survey www.theworkfoundation.com/surveys/F4W/f4w.htm

Done. It's interesting that it says the work foundation is now linked to Lancaster university as i contributed to a research project about work by a lecturer from there earlier in the year.

Done. This was very interesting. I did not realise until I completed this questionnaire, how much my employer has done for me to keep me in work ThumpUp and how little my GP has questioned my ability to work or given me supportThumbDown .
